Any athletes out there? I'm in my third year of training for triathlons, absolutely love swimming, biking, and running but have had a bit of trouble meeting anyone who likes the same. My social circle is pretty much filled with people who look in with some vague curiosity which generally ends at "You are going to run HOW long?" It's certainly not a lifestyle for everyone, but I've grown a little bit beyond waiting for Friday night to come around so I can lounge around the bars / clubs until the middle of the night... not saying that there is anything wrong with that, just that it's not where I am in life. Following are some things that somewhat distinguish me from everybody else, or at least from some other people, but what can you expect from a free internet ad.
- I have a good job that I enjoy for the most part. It's still work though, so I can't say I'm in love with it ;)
- I'm in shape, well... triathlete/cyclist shape... weird tan lines and all.
- I'm educated beyond high school, although it was mostly a labor of love as opposed to being for any financial gains. I also really like to read, generally sticking to the classics and some philosophy / sports for good measure.
- I am not in search of a Sugar Momma, I have the basics down... house, car, insurance, multiple bikes, tons of running shoes... you know, the simple stuff. Nonetheless, it would be nice if you also have some of the basics as well.
- Not looking for trouble. Use the broadest meaning of that word if you want so that it can encompass things like baggage, drama, ex's, prison sentences, homicidal tendencies, etc.
- Other than my Type A personality when it comes to getting my training in, I do not enjoy high stress stuff. I'm a big fan of just relaxing.
- I don't smoke, drink socially (and possibly a bit too much on vacation and after big races, but hey, gotta have some fun too) and don't eat from fast food chains... I'm also allergic to gluten, so bread is the devil, albeit sadly.
- I'm not into politics... at all. Just never was my thing, and since I don't have a clue what's really going on, I can tastefully refrain from voicing my opinion on ---insert government caused problem--- and thereby sounding like an idiot. I have plenty of other opportunities to sound like an idiot, trust me.
- Religion is the guilty pleasure I guess (told you I had plenty of other opportunities to sound like an idiot) I definitely believe in something, but Zeus on a cloud throwing thunderbolts isn't really it. I guess I'm saying I think that regional / cultural influences generally tell a certain demographic who/what is "right" and who/what is "wrong." Example: I was born in East TN - therefore I was raised Baptist... which is obviously right... I mean, we have fried chicken after service... Amirite?
I'm also a big nerd and at least I think I have a pretty good sense of humor, but then, what do I know. Thank you for reading, I'd add for you to put something in the subject title, but I love to read the internet scam ads too, so I'll see it regardless. ;) Hot wives want love dating ideas
