I don't want to have serious issues in the future where he wont help himself or things get nasty or it comes down to him picking the bottle over me. I this dearly and would to make him a permanent part of my life. The bad behavior mentioned at the start of this post ONLY occured during a time of extreme depression and mental anguish and has never happened since- he is a beautiful, loving,intelligent, hard-working individual. PTSD gets in the way of so things in a relationship- communication, emotions, intimacy to name a few- that is get REALLY tough to stay positive.
